Enhancing My 3D Virtual World with a 2D Graphics Tool

I took a screenshot of my avatar on the road of the virtual world PSOAS Domus Botnica.
I used GIMP and using the paintbrush tool I colored my avatar's shirt to another color, drew in a cloud, drew a yellow taxi, a duck crossing the road and drew in ornaments on a tree.

Roll Call #1 Class #4

Cropped out the roll call sheet for 9/25/2014

Meshmoon Exploration

A group screenshot in robot world.

A group screenshot in lunar world.

A group screenshot in beneath the waves

A screenshot at school

A screenshot at the fire department.

These are screenshots in Meshmoon with my group Bad Boys of Boston.
As a group we explored five different virtual worlds.

Class 3: Exploring the Virtual World Framework (VWF)

Theses are some screenshots from Grassy Terrain

These are some screenshots from Middle-eastern Village

These are some screenshots from the Command Center.

Above are 5 screenshots from 3 different locations. The locations I chose were Grassy Terrain, Middle Eastern Village and Command Room. The quality of VWF was definitely better but extremely slow. The loading time was longer and the screen would lag time to time. The movement of the avatar was slower. I actually had to turn my laptop off and turn it back on since it was too slow.  However, the location space, such as in the Grassy Terrain, the grass would move with the wind.

The quality of Web Rocket was not as good as the VWF. Web Rocket was faster and the avatar moved much quicker. For VWF Grassy Terrain was okay but the Middle Eastern Village lagged a lot of time and the avatar would not move properly. The screen quality of the command room was so much cleaner. I could move through the door.

MIDTERM #4

I choose the snowman as my avatar.
