I added a new layer and made a circle using the toolbox. I pressed shift as I was making the circle to make it into a perfect circle instead of an oval. I filled in the circle to a gray tone which was similar to a silver dollar.
I added a transparent layer and started drawing the inside of the silver dollar with a darker gray tone.
By changing the brush shape to a star, I made stars.
I wrote in the year of the coin using text box.
Saved the file as a png file.
This is the finalized version of my silver dollar.
